In our current property sales portal, there is a field where the real estate agent (seller) must input the location of the property on a map. This allows potential buyers to view the property’s location. However, on the current website, agents have to manually gather the latitude and longitude from another site in order to specify the position on the map, which can be a cumbersome process.
There are free APIs available that allow users to dynamically select the exact location on the map, streamlining this process and improving usability for the agents. This would be more efficient than the current manual input.
I suggest providing the option to integrate one of the following mapping tools:
- Mapbox
- Leaflet + OpenStreetMap
- MapLibre
These options offer worldwide coverage and will be compatible with the global user base, as our system is sold and used in various regions across the world.
This feature will make the platform more user-friendly for real estate agents and enhance the property listing process for buyers.
